It must be noted, homeopathic remedies are not necessarily home remedies, though some may very well be.
Webster defines homeopathic medicine as: a system of alternative medicine that treats a disease especially by the administration of minute doses of a remedy that would in larger amounts produce symptoms in healthy persons similar to those of the disease. To this I might add, the immune system has been jousting with toxic organisms for millions of millennia, both adversarially and symbiotically, at levels far beyond the capacity of our feeble intellects. Allopathy (medicine through prescription) is not to be ignored, but rather augmented by such practices. the area where the two overlap has been commercialized and easily found as an OTC product i.e. ASPIRIN – willow bark extract or, recently, TURMERIC – which is a form of Ginger root.
